Survey responses: self-reported information, provided within surveys on the app, is collected and automatically anonymised.
Usage preferences: anonymised usage data is collected automatically, e.g. amount of time spent on a specific screen of the App, date and time a specific functionality was used, error logs, etc.
Preferred third party organisations: users of the App are able to select third party organisations as preferred partners for community engagement, service delivery or research studies. This usage data is collected to facilitate the engagement process, based on the user's preferences.

4. Data Security & Storage
All collected data is stored securely in data centers based in the United States. User data is strictly monitored and is never allowed to leave US borders.
No personally identifiable information is stored beyond what is necessary to provide access to the App’s functionalities, and only based on user preferences and subject to user consent.
Individual user data will not be shared or sold to third parties. Aggregated user data will not be sold to third parties. Individual users can choose to user Axia Medicine’s platform to sell limited access to their own data to third parties, for use cases and jurisdictions where it’s permitted. Our role is to facilitate a transaction initiated by the user, and we will never sell your data directly.
None of our partners are allowed to sell access to data users have given them access to.
5. User Rights & Choices
App users can only access the Smartomics app after reviewing and consenting to the app’s Terms and Conditions.
Users can request deletion of their data at any time by emailing contact@axiamedicine.com. When a data transaction has been completed, data access to a copy of the shared data will continue until the conclusion of the data sharing agreement. Today the maximum limit is 12 months. In case of data deletion request, once the data access agreement expires all remaining user data will be deleted from the platform.
Aggregated, anonymised data used for App product improvements cannot be reconnected to individual accounts, so it’s not possible to recreate data for which deletion was requested.
